The boys like to put out carrots and magic reindeer food for Santa's reindeer. The magic food "attracts reindeer from hundreds of miles away" and what reindeer doesn't like a carrot?
Here they are throwing the magic all over a one foot area in the front yard.
Just like millions of other kids the boys like to leave cookies and milk for Santa. They were very interested in making the cookies with Gammie until it was boring - I'd say they helped scoop some dough on the first tray and they ate some cookies within minutes of that same tray coming out of the oven.
